Hello! My name is Dominique McCafferty Snapp. I am a master researcher and librarian with over 25 years of experience. I’ve helped thousands of people find the information they’re looking for, including genealogical information. I love to watch people’s eyes light up when they find the facts they need to help solve a problem.

The research help I provide has largely been in the U.S., but I am building research experience in Western Europe as well. And if I can’t find the answer for you, I will happily refer you to someone who can!

I use numerous genealogy subscription services as well as offline resources. Each customer I work with will receive a written report with all of the supporting documentation. My genealogy blog (included on this website) will give you a sense of my writing style.

If you are creative and you enjoy doing research, you might prefer to do this on your own, but if you’re looking for someone who is willing to do the deep research on your behalf, I have a broad knowledge base and the research skills to know where to look.
